Scotland Yard's Chief Broke Rules to Provide Personal Planes to Family

Most senior British official chief used the air miles accumulated on official trips to help to buy flights for his family this news emerged yesterday. John Yates, Scotland Yard’s anti-terror chief has broken his forces own rules by using the flights on perks. It has been done and used by his teenage son and daughter. Assistant Commissioner Yates is agreed To pay the taxes which his son and daughter had spent on the revenue of the Government.

The total revenue expenditure on this traveling as calculated by the HM Revenue and Customs as a benefit in kind will be paid by Yates. Metropolitan Police rules state that the officers must read the points on business journeys to cut the cost of trips which has to be scheduled in future.

Yates used his air miles at his work trip to travel the business class for which he has been entitled. This has been done to cut the cost of flights up to 10 family members. Mr. Yates, 51, is also the in charge of the reopened mobile hacking case. He has said that he attempted to take the interview of the paper’s former editor Andy Coulson who is David Cameron’s director of communication.

Mr. Yates took flight to Washington and New York in the last of June for his business purpose. He is a popular officer he split from his wife and now he is in relationship with a former Yard press officer and they are planning a child.
