The airport union has called a twenty two days strike on the major airports of the Spanish regions and other parts which are associated with it. The strike has been scheduled in the busy spring season and summer season in a protest over the government privatization plans of the government. We are not asking for better economic conditions or labor conditions. There main objective is to make their jobs secure, they announced that they want their jobs secure.
This announcement has been done by the three main airport unions which have announced in a strike which has to be started in the month of August and April. Spain announced in December that it wants to partially privatize the state airport operator AENA which is going to cost a heavy amount in the present scene and deal.
This has been considered as a plan to reduce the national debt due to which the country is being lacking in the growth of the nation. Private companies are going to take heavy percentage of stakes in the country airport and airport services business. That is considered to draw both national and foreign interest.
The air traffic controllers wildcat is in the mood to make strike in the early of December which has been stranding thousand of passengers and caused a scene of complexity on the major airports of the Spanish region. The total of twenty two days were been going to be involved in the whole strike which is also going to include the day of Easter
